First things first – I’m Sue, not Penny (nnng..)  and I’m a graphic designer, illustrator, and creator of Pennychoo Greetings Cards. As you can see, I live my life entirely in sepia, and that isn’t my truck.

I’m based near the Thames in Twickenham where I share a small flat with a jazz musician, some interesting patches of damp and a small posse of silverfish who we’ve come to think of as family.

My interest lies mostly in the past, and especially in the 1940s and 1950s which is where I get a lot of the ideas from for my cards and stationery.

The aim of the blog is to chart ideas I have and record the things I see that inspire them. I promise it’ll be light on words, heavy on pictures and updated regularly so I hope you stick around for the ride.
